Small Pendant Light for Kitchen Island, Wood and Acrylic

A single pendant that turns a corner of the room into somewhere you want to linger. The fluted shade holds the light behind white acrylic — an even glow, no bare filament, no glare. Hang it over the breakfast table or beside the pillow. The room reads finished rather than merely lit.

A rounded shade gathered into a pleated hem

• Fluted surface — fine vertical ribs run the full height of the acrylic, catching light in soft stripes rather than one flat wash.
• Gathered hem — the shade draws in at the base into a pleated, scalloped edge, like a drawstring pulled shut.
• Turned wood cap — a rounded wooden dome seats over the top of the shade and carries the cord.
• Braided cord — a woven textile cord drops from a round wood ceiling plate finished to match the cap.

Wood over white acrylic

The cap is a small turned dome, its grain showing against the plain white acrylic below. Unlit, the pendant reads as a quiet sculptural object. Switched on, the ribbing breaks the light into soft vertical bands instead of one bright point.

A straightforward fit at the ceiling point

Have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you are comfortable with basic wiring. It runs on a standard wall switch, sold separately. Shorten the cable as you hang it, so the shade sits where you want above a table or a nightstand.

Frequently asked questions

Will it work on a sloped ceiling?
Yes, up to the slope angle given in the specifications. Measure the pitch of your ceiling before you order.

Will I see the bulb through the shade?
No. The white acrylic spreads the light, so you read the glow rather than the filament.

Which parts change with the colour option?
The cap and the ceiling plate. The fluted shade stays white in both.
