Vertical Glass Globe Wall Sconce for Hallway, Brass, or Nickel Finish

A single elongated globe runs vertically down the wall on this sconce, diffusing the light through glass or frosted plastic rather than pointing it in one direction. The effect is soft and ambient rather than bright and directional, which is exactly what a hallway, bedroom, or entryway usually needs — enough light to see by, without the glare of a bare bulb. Clean lines and a simple, elongated form keep it modern and minimal, and it comes in three sizes and a metal finish of brass, black, or nickel, so it scales from a narrow hallway to a taller stretch of living room wall.

What makes it work

• Vertical glass globe — An elongated globe diffuser runs down the wall rather than sitting flush against it, giving the light a soft, ambient quality instead of a hard, directional beam.
• Three sizes, three finishes — Available in three height and diameter combinations, each in brass, black, or nickel, paired with either a glass or plastic globe.
• Colour-temperature choice — Order it in warm, cool, or neutral light, or choose the Triac dimmable warm-light option if you want it to work with a dimmer switch.

Fitting it properly

This is a hardwired fixture rated IP20, so it's built for indoor spaces like bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms rather than bathrooms. It isn't smart-home enabled and doesn't include a built-in dimmer — most colour-temperature options are fixed brightness, but if you order the Triac Dimmable Warm Light option, pair it with a TRIAC dimmer switch for the smoothest results. Have an electrician wire it in, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic household wiring — it's a straightforward job. Exact dimensions per size are listed below and shown in the product images.

Frequently asked questions

Can I dim this light?
Only if you choose the Triac Dimmable Warm Light option at checkout — pair it with a TRIAC dimmer switch for the best results. The other colour-temperature options aren't dimmable.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No — it's rated IP20 for indoor use, which covers bedrooms, hallways, and living rooms, but not bathrooms or other damp spaces.

What sizes does it come in?
Three: Style A and Style C share the same diameter at two different heights, while Style B is narrower and sits in between on height.

Does it come with a bulb?
Yes — the LED light source is integrated and included, so there's no separate bulb to buy.
