Alabaster Drum Chandelier for Dining Table, Round, Linear or Two-Tier

Willamette hangs vertical panels of natural alabaster from a brushed-brass ring, in eight configurations — five round drums, a two-tier and two linear bars. It arrives with 150 cm (59″) of steel cable you shorten at the canopy, so you set the drop yourself. Sized for a dining table, kitchen island, entry hall or stairwell.

What makes it work

• Alabaster lights from within — unlit the panels read cool chalk-white with faint grey veining; switched on the drum turns honey-amber and the caramel and rust veins glow from behind.
• Eight configurations — five round drums from Dia. 56 to 116 cm (22 to 45.7″), a two-tier ring 30 cm (11.8″) deep, and two linear bars at 120 and 150 cm (47.2 and 59″), so the fixture follows the shape of your table.
• Cut panel by panel — each slab is quarried stone, pinned at the top with a single exposed brass screw, so the veining runs differently across every shade.

Choosing your configuration

The round drums — 10, 12, 16, 18 or 22 heads — read as one centrepiece over a round or square table, or in an entry hall with height to spare. The two-tier 16+10 stacks a smaller ring under the main one and doubles the depth to 30 cm (11.8″), which fills a stairwell or a double-height room. The two linear bars run their heads along a straight brass canopy at 120 or 150 cm (47.2 or 59″) — that is the one for a long dining table or a kitchen island.

Bulbs and light

Each head takes one G9 and bulbs are sold separately, so the output and the colour temperature stay your choice.

Good to know

Alabaster is quarried stone: the veining on your panels will not repeat the photographs — that is the material, not a flaw. Rated IP20, indoor and dry locations only, so keep it clear of bathrooms and covered terraces. The whole weight rides on steel cables, so fix the canopy to a joist or a rated ceiling brace rather than to plasterboard alone, and over a dining table set the base 76 to 91 cm (30 to 36″) above the tabletop. Wire and hang the frame before you fit the alabaster panels, and handle each panel by its edges. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Are bulbs included?
No. Each head takes a G9 bulb, sold separately, so the output and the colour temperature stay your choice.

How low will it hang?
It comes with 150 cm (59″) of steel cable, shortened at the canopy during installation, so you can set the drop anywhere between the ceiling and the full 150 cm (59″).

What is the difference between the round and linear versions?
The round drums carry their heads in a circle around a single canopy, from Dia. 56 to 116 cm (22 to 45.7″). The two linear bars run the heads along a straight brass canopy, 120 or 150 cm (47.2 or 59″) long, which suits a long table or a kitchen island.

Can I hang it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.
