Description

Les lampes de chevet n’ont généralement pas besoin d’afficher un design spectaculaire, mais simplement d’être belles aussi bien éteintes qu’allumées - ce qui est le cas ici, avec une base chromée soutenant un abat-jour en verre qui capte la lumière même lorsque la lampe est éteinte. Touchez n’importe quelle partie de la base pour l’allumer, sans avoir à chercher un interrupteur dans le noir : c’est ce qui en fait une lampe de table véritablement pratique pour une table de chevet.

Le câblage n’a rien de particulier non plus : une prise standard assure l’alimentation, et l’ampoule E27 à l’intérieur se remplace facilement chaque fois que vous avez envie de changer. Les couleurs crème et blanche se fondent discrètement sur la plupart des tables de chevet ; choisissez le rose si vous voulez vraiment qu’elle se fasse remarquer.

Guide d’installation

Ces lampes sont sur pied et ne nécessitent aucun câblage. La plupart sont prêtes à l’emploi quelques minutes après leur déballage. Les étapes ci-dessous concernent les modèles sur secteur, rechargeables et solaires : vérifiez lequel vous avez dans les spécifications du produit ci-dessus avant de commencer.

Avant de commencer

  • Emplacement : posez la lampe sur une surface plane et stable, à l’écart des portes et des passages où elle pourrait être renversée. Pour les lampadaires, veillez à ce que leur base ne repose pas sur des tapis susceptibles de les faire vaciller.
  • Alimentation : votre lampe fonctionne sur une prise secteur, une batterie rechargeable intégrée ou un panneau solaire. Les spécifications du produit ci-dessus indiquent laquelle de ces options s’applique.
  • À l’intérieur ou à l’extérieur : n’utilisez une lampe à l’extérieur que si son indice de protection l’autorise. Gardez toute lampe qui n’est pas conçue pour résister à l’humidité à l’écart des éviers, des baignoires et des fenêtres ouvertes.
  • Variation de l’intensité : certains modèles disposent d’un interrupteur ou d’une commande tactile permettant de régler l’intensité ; d’autres fonctionnent avec un variateur à brancher. Les spécifications ci-dessus indiquent ce que propose votre modèle.
  • Ampoules : lorsqu’une ampoule est remplaçable, utilisez le type et la puissance indiqués. Ne dépassez jamais la puissance inscrite sur la douille.

Outils éventuellement nécessaires

  • Aucun pour la plupart des modèles
  • Un petit tournevis, si votre lampe possède un couvercle de batterie ou un abat-jour à fixer
  • Une rallonge, si la prise la plus proche est assez éloignée

Installation

1. Déballer et vérifier

Retirez délicatement la lampe de son emballage et conservez celui-ci jusqu’à ce que vous soyez satisfait de son état. Vérifiez qu’elle n’a pas été endommagée pendant le transport et que toutes les pièces indiquées sont présentes. Si l’abat-jour ou le pied est livré séparément, fixez-le à la main ou avec un petit tournevis ; serrez simplement à la main.

2. Choisir l’emplacement

Posez la lampe sur une surface plane capable de supporter son poids sans se déformer. Pour une lampe de lecture, placer le bas de l’abat-jour légèrement au-dessus du niveau des yeux lorsque vous êtes assis dirige la lumière vers la page tout en gardant l’ampoule hors de votre champ de vision.

3. Branchez l’alimentation

  • Secteur : branchez-la sur une prise à proximité et disposez le câble de manière à ce qu’il ne soit ni tendu ni exposé au passage. À l’extérieur, utilisez une prise étanche ou une rallonge prévue pour l’extérieur.
  • Rechargeable : rechargez-la complètement avant la première utilisation. Le compartiment de la batterie se trouve généralement sous la base. Insérez la batterie du type indiqué dans le bon sens, puis refermez le couvercle.
  • Solaire : placez le panneau en plein soleil. La première charge complète peut prendre une journée de bonne luminosité, et les performances des premiers jours ne permettent pas d’évaluer correctement la batterie.

4. Installez ou vérifiez l’ampoule

Si votre lampe utilise une ampoule remplaçable, vissez-la doucement jusqu’à ce qu’elle soit bien en place. Ne forcez pas. Les modèles à LED intégrées ne nécessitent aucune ampoule et ne sont pas conçus pour être ouverts.

5. Allumez et réglez

Utilisez l’interrupteur, la commande tactile ou la télécommande pour allumer la lampe, puis réglez la luminosité ou le mode de couleur si votre modèle propose ces options. Les modèles à détection de mouvement et les modèles solaires peuvent ne pas fonctionner de manière prévisible avant d’avoir effectué un cycle de charge complet.

Conseils importants

  • Suivez les consignes de sécurité imprimées sur la lampe et figurant dans son manuel.
  • N’utilisez pas à l’extérieur une lampe conçue uniquement pour l’intérieur, même sous un abri.
  • Rechargez ou remplacez les batteries avant qu’elles ne soient régulièrement complètement déchargées : les décharges profondes réduisent leur durée de vie.
  • Essuyez de temps en temps un panneau solaire pour le nettoyer ; un panneau poussiéreux se recharge nettement plus lentement.
  • Débranchez une lampe secteur pendant un orage ou si vous vous absentez pendant une longue période.
  • Faites passer le câble d’une lampe sur pied derrière les meubles plutôt qu’en travers du sol, et laissez un peu de jeu à l’endroit où il entre dans la base afin que la jonction ne soit jamais sous tension.

I bought it with a lot of late!! I am too satisfied. The first function is to adjust the brightness of the three light colors 9 times. The USB terminal comes and connects it to the outlet, and when it first came, the upper part of the light and the Pillar (?) it's a little hard to put on this separate!
