Four glass domes in brushed-brass cups run along a chrome bar, 98 cm (38.5″) end to end, spreading an even wash of light instead of one pool underneath. Four E26/E27 sockets take bulbs sold anywhere and dim from an ordinary switch. It sits semi-flush, 24 cm (9.4″) below the ceiling, over a kitchen island, hallway or long dining table.

The drop is fixed at 24 cm (9.4″) with no chain or cord to shorten, so check your ceiling height first. And the rating is IP40 — dust-protected, with no moisture protection — so it belongs in dry rooms rather than a bathroom or a covered porch.

Fitting it
The whole bar hangs off one ceiling point: a round brushed-brass canopy of ∅ 15 cm (5.9″) covers the fixing and carries 98 cm (38.5″) of metal and glass, so put it into a joist or a rated ceiling fixing rather than plasterboard alone. The canopy sits off-centre along the bar by design — the asymmetry is the design, not a fitting error — so line it up with your existing ceiling point rather than the middle of the run. The four shades fit into their brass cups once the bar is up and wired. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
