Two alabaster capsules and three alabaster globes ride a slim bronze bar 96.5 cm (38″) long, so the light runs the length of a table instead of pooling under a single shade. Unlit, the stone is soft cream shot through with grey and amber veining; switched on, the LED behind it turns each panel into an even, warm glow with the veining showing through. The frame is iron in a dark blackened-bronze finish that reads almost black across a room and warms up close. Ceiling to lowest point, it hangs 115.5 cm (45.5″).

The LED is built into the fixture, which means two things: it will not work with a wall dimmer, and the tone you pick at checkout is the tone you keep. The alabaster is natural stone, so the veining on yours will not repeat the photograph. And it is an indoor fitting, rated IP20 — no bathrooms, no covered porches.
Hanging it
It wires into a single ceiling point and drops 115.5 cm (45.5″) overall. Over a dining table the base of a linear fixture normally sits 75 to 90 cm (30 to 35″) above the tabletop, so measure that gap from your own ceiling before you fix the canopy, and level the bar to the table below — a linear piece shows any twist. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

A linear fixture usually looks right at about half to two-thirds of the table length. At 96.5 cm (38″) that puts it over a table or island of roughly 1.5 to 2 m (5 to 6.5 ft).
Should I choose warm or cool white?
Warm white flatters wood, brass and food, and is the usual choice over a dining table. Cool white reads crisper and holds up better over a working kitchen island. The fixture is identical either way — only the tone changes.
Will the alabaster look like the photographs?
In tone, yes. In pattern, no — each shade is cut from natural stone, so the veining is particular to your fixture.
