A single cylinder of alabaster, 40 cm (15.7″) long and 7.5 cm (3″) across, carried horizontally in a copper-finished yoke and hung from a clear cable so the stone appears to float. Unlit it is a pale, dense tube with grey veining running end to end. Lit, the LED inside warms the whole length through and the veining comes forward — you see glowing stone, never a lamp. It is deliberately small: one hangs neatly over the end of a counter, while three spaced along a kitchen island or a dining table cover the full run.

The metalwork comes in one finish: a warm copper tone on the band, the through-rod and the yoke. The LED runs at a fixed output and is not dimmable, so wire it to an ordinary switched circuit rather than to a wall dimmer. Warm or cool is a one-time choice made at order — warm sits with wood and brass over a dining table, cool reads crisper above a working island. The cable hangs up to 59 cm (23.2″), which makes this a fitting for a standard ceiling height rather than a stairwell. Its IP20 rating carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms, and expect the veining on your cylinder to differ from the photographs — alabaster is quarried, not printed.
