Hung on a slim cord, a flat disc of natural alabaster spreads 25 cm (9.8″) across and stands only 8 cm (3.1″) deep — a pendant that reads as a line rather than a volume. A brushed brass bowl sits under the centre of the disc and aims the integrated LED down into the stone, so what reaches the room is a soft, honeyed wash off the alabaster instead of a bare point of glare. Over a kitchen island, a breakfast bar or a bedside table it clears sightlines completely: you see the light, not the fitting.

What makes it work

  • Natural alabaster shade — cut from real stone, so the veining belongs to your piece alone and the light comes through warm and diffused rather than hard.
  • Integrated LED in a brass bowl — the light source is built into the fixture and turned down into the stone, so there is no bulb to source and nothing glaring at eye level.
  • Shallow 8 cm (3.1″) profile — a low, wide silhouette that lights a worktop without blocking the view across it.

What to expect from the stone

Alabaster is quarried, not printed, so the veining in your shade will run differently from the one in the photographs — that is the material, not a flaw. The integrated LED is not built for a standard wall dimmer circuit either; if you want a dimmable build, tell us before you order and we will go through the options.

Installation

The pendant hardwires to a ceiling point and hangs on a 59 cm (23.2″) cord from a slim cylindrical canopy. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

No. The LED is built into the fixture and aimed down into the alabaster, so there is nothing to buy and nothing to change later.

Will my shade look like the photographs?
Close in tone, not identical in pattern. Every disc is cut from natural stone and carries its own veining.

No. It is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.

Will it work on a dimmer?
