Set flush against the ceiling, this ceiling light fixture layers a genuine alabaster disc over a glass one, both held in a brass frame, so the light spreads down and out in a wide, even wash instead of a single hot point — the flat, low-profile shape sits close to the ceiling, which makes it a natural fit for a dining room, a living room, or anywhere a pendant would hang too low.

What makes it work

A note on the alabaster

Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining and translucency in the disc you receive is unique to that piece — it will read a little differently from the photos, and no two this ceiling light fixtures match exactly. That variation is simply what genuine alabaster looks like.

Bulbs and installation

Each socket takes an E12 or E14 bulb, sold separately, so you can choose your own warmth and brightness. This is a hardwired fixture, so have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring — it's a straightforward job.
