A single sphere of natural alabaster, capped in brass and hung on a slim black cord. Unlit it reads as cool, milky stone — pale grey-white, with soft veining drifting across the surface. Switch it on and the whole globe warms to a honey lantern, the veins darkening into visible seams while the stone keeps the light soft enough to sit under. The smallest globe measures 10 cm (3.9″) across, so it clears a bedside table without crowding it; the largest is 15 cm (5.9″), enough to hold its own over a kitchen island.
What makes it work
-
Stone, not glass — every globe is cut and polished from natural alabaster, so the veining on yours is its own and the glow carries a depth that only real stone gives.
-
Brass fittings — the collar that grips the stone and the fixings above it are solid brass, warm-toned against the pale surface.
-
Cord or rod, single or cluster — take the hanging wire for a soft vertical line, the suspension rod for a fixed architectural drop, and the three-globe cluster when one point of light is not enough.
Choosing the size and the drop
Both suspensions give you up to 150 cm (59″) of drop. Over a kitchen island the base of a pendant usually sits around 75–90 cm (30–35″) above the worktop; beside a bed, hang it so the globe falls just above pillow height. The three-globe cluster gathers all three heads on one round canopy of 20 cm (7.9″) at staggered lengths, so it wires into a single ceiling point rather than three.
Before you order
-
Bulbs are separate — each globe takes a G9 bulb, so you set the brightness and the warmth yourself.
-
Rated IP20 — that covers solid objects only and carries no moisture protection, so keep it out of bathrooms and anywhere it might be splashed.
-
No two globes match — alabaster is natural stone, and the piece that arrives will show its own veining rather than the exact pattern in the photograph.

Frequently asked questions
Which size suits a bedside table?
The 10 cm (3.9″) globe. It reads as a point of light rather than a fixture, and a pair either side of the bed keeps the surface clear. Step up to 15 cm (5.9″) over an island or in a hallway.
What is the difference between the hanging wire and the suspension rod?
The wire is a flexible cord that hangs in a soft vertical line. The rod is rigid brass and holds the globe at a fixed height, so it stays put where a cord would swing. Both give up to 150 cm (59″) of drop.
Does the cluster need three ceiling points?
No. All three globes hang from one round canopy of 20 cm (7.9″) at staggered lengths, so it wires into a single point.
Can I fit it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.
