A wide brass-finished dome, with a single disc of natural alabaster closing its underside and turning a bare LED into an even wash of light. Lit, the stone reads warm honey-cream with its own faint veining; switched off it sits as a pale matte circle against polished metal. The smaller size measures ∅50 cm (19.7″) across and stands 31.5 cm (12.5″) tall — enough presence over a compact island without crowding it. The larger spans ∅71 cm (28″) and holds a full dining table on its own. A slim stem and a rectangular-link chain set the drop, and a small finial finishes the centre of the dome.
What makes it work
It will not run on a wall dimmer
The integrated LED is driven at a fixed output, so a standard leading- or trailing-edge wall dimmer will not control it, and wiring one in can make it flicker. Set the character of the light at checkout instead: Warm Light for a low, relaxed cast, Cool Light for a crisper one.
Alabaster is natural stone
Every diffuser is cut from a real block, so the veining and the exact warmth of the tone shift from piece to piece. Yours will look like the photographs without matching them line for line.
Fitting it
This pendant is hardwired to a ceiling point, and the chain shortens link by link so you can set the drop precisely — above a table or an island the base of a pendant usually sits 75–90 cm (29.5–35.4″) off the surface. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
