Unlit, it reads as a band of pale stone held in a slim brass-finished ring — curved alabaster panels set between two rails, the veining running soft and irregular the whole way round. Switch it on and the light comes out of the stone rather than past it: the panels glow from within, the veins darken against the glow, and a broad, even wash spreads sideways instead of one hard beam straight down. The ring hangs on fine clear cables at a 150 cm (59″) drop, and it spans anywhere from ∅40 cm (15.7″) in a hallway or above a small round table to ∅100 cm (39.4″) across a full dining table.

Every size is built in the tone you pick, so it is worth a moment. Warm Light leans amber and draws the honey out of the stone — the one for a dining table, a bedroom, a living room. Cool Light reads whiter and crisper against the veining, and it holds up where the room already runs cool: a kitchen, a stairwell, a study. Neither version dims. The integrated LED runs at a fixed output and is not compatible with wall dimmer switches, so the circuit wants a plain on/off switch.

Natural stone, and one ring per order

Alabaster is quarried, not moulded, so the colour and veining on your ring will not repeat a photograph exactly — the warm tone stays, the pattern is its own. One order buys one ring at the size you choose — the clustered arrangements, two or three diameters hung at staggered heights, are that many fixtures ordered together.

The ring hangs from a single ceiling point and wires straight into the mains, so the fixing carries the weight and the wiring is the simple part.
