Unlit, the shade is a smooth column of pale alabaster with its veining barely showing; switched on, the whole tube warms through and the grain of the stone is drawn out along it. It stands 55 cm (21.7″) tall on a footprint under 10 cm (3.9″) across, so it holds a hallway wall or a bedside without projecting into the walkway. A short arm with two turned ball joints links the round wall plate to a domed cap, and the light runs down the length of the stone rather than out into your eyes.
What makes it work
-
Natural alabaster shade — the tube is cut from real stone, so it spreads a single GU10 bulb into an even glow instead of a hot spot.
-
Solid brass arm and joints — two turned ball joints and a domed cap carry the shade, in antique brass or black to sit with the hardware you already have.
-
Standard GU10 socket — you choose the bulb, so the brightness and the colour temperature are yours to set, and a replacement is available anywhere.
Two finishes, one stone
What you are choosing here is the metal: antique brass or black. The alabaster tube is the same warm white in both, so the frame against your wall changes, not the light it throws.
Before you order
- Bulbs are not included — the socket takes any standard GU10.
- Alabaster is natural stone, so the veining and translucency of your piece will differ from the photographs. That variation is the material, not a flaw.
- Rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms: keep it out of bathrooms, wet rooms and anywhere it would meet steam or splashing.
- It wires straight into the wall on a switched circuit — there is no cord or plug on the body.

Installation
The sconce fixes to a standard wall box and runs off the room switch. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wall wiring — it's a straightforward job.
Clérachic keeps the full measurements and the installation guide on file — email info@clerachic.com and we'll send both over.
Frequently asked questions
Is a bulb included?
No. The socket takes a standard GU10, so you pick the brightness and colour temperature you want and replace it anywhere.
How far does it stand off the wall?
Its footprint stays under 10 cm (3.9″), so at 55 cm (21.7″) tall it reads as a slim vertical line on the wall rather than something you brush past.
Can it go in a bathroom?
No — it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, so keep it clear of steam and splashing.
Will the stone look like the photos?
Close, but not identical. Every tube is cut from natural alabaster, so the veining that lights up belongs to your piece alone.
