A single elongated oval of alabaster, lit from within and standing just 5.5 cm (2.2″) off the wall on a compact dark metal fixing. The whole loop glows rather than throwing a beam — no visible bulb, no hotspot, no hard edge where the light stops — and the stone's own veining reads as fine grey and honey lines drawn through it. It comes in two heights: 40 cm (15.7″) beside a bed or along a hallway, and 60 cm (23.6″) where the wall wants a taller line.

On dimming
The integrated LED is not built for standard wall dimmer switches. Wire it to a plain on/off circuit and it runs exactly as intended.
Installation
This is a hardwired fitting, so it connects to the wall point rather than a plug, and the fixing plate holds the whole sconce close to the wall. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic household wiring — it's a straightforward job.
