The Atman is a sculptural table lamp with the quiet weight of intention. Shaped from clear crystal glass into the form of a smooth oval stone, it casts a warm, intimate glow that brings a sense of stillness to any space you set it in.

The story

It began with a trip to India, where the designer met a culture that holds silence and chaos, spirituality and hardship all at once. There he discovered holy oval stones and set out to recreate their shape in glass. The name Atman comes from the Sanskrit word for soul.

  • Crystal glass shade — clear crystal glass shaped after a holy oval stone, so each piece feels like a quiet object of contemplation.
  • COB integrated LED — a high-intensity chip-on-board LED that is powerful, efficient, and long-lasting, with no bulb to replace.
  • Plug-in, no wiring — a 59.1″ cord with an inline push-button switch plugs into any standard outlet, so no electrician is needed.

A note on warmth

The COB LED chip runs hotter than standard LEDs. The lamp body may reach 40–50°C (104–122°F) during normal use — this is expected and not a defect. Give the lamp room to breathe: keep it ventilated, and do not cover it with fabric or push it directly against a wall.
