Hand-curled brass scrollwork sits between the arms of this candelabra chandelier, each head carrying a large opal glass globe. The globes diffuse fully — no filament or hot spot at seated height — and each takes an ordinary E26/E27 bulb. Three sizes, ∅ 45 to 80 cm (17.7 to 31.5″), for a dining table, entry hall or stairwell.

What makes it work

  • Hand-curled brass scrollwork — flat brass ribbon rolled into open volutes that sit between the arms, so the ornament reads as craft rather than casting.
  • Opal glass globes — fully diffusing shades that spread the light evenly and hide the bulb, so there is no glare from below or from a seat at the table.
  • Three head counts, one design — 3, 5 or 8 lights on the same 38 cm (15″) frame height and 50 cm (19.7″) chain, so only the span changes as you scale up.
  • Green, Red or Black — the glazed stem, collars and finial carry the colour against polished brass. Red is a deep, warm red-brown closer to polished walnut than to a bright red.

Before you order

Bulbs are supplied separately: one E26 or E27 per head, and no dimmer is built into the fixture. The 8-light is a single tier with its arms staggered around one ring, not a two-tier fixture, and every size needs light assembly before it goes up. It is hardwired and rated IP20, for dry indoor rooms. At ∅ 80 cm (31.5″) the 8-light wants a joist or a rated ceiling brace behind the canopy rather than plasterboard alone. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Can the chain be lengthened?
Yes. It ships with 50 cm (19.7″) of chain, and a longer drop can be supplied on request for a higher ceiling.

Is it dimmable?
No dimmer is built into the fixture — it runs at a single brightness from a standard wall switch.

Are bulbs included?
No. Each head takes an E26 or E27 bulb, sold separately, so the brightness and colour of the light are yours to choose.
