A blown glass pendant in clear or amber, where each of the three sizes is its own silhouette — teardrop, faceted taper, flared bowl. What makes it work

• A different shape in every size — picking the diameter picks the silhouette too, so a bedside teardrop and an island bowl read as one family rather than one shade scaled up and down.
• Rigid brass-tone rod — the shade hangs straight and stays where you set it, and the brass collar at the neck is part of the design rather than a cover for the fitting.

Clear or amber

• Clear — almost colorless unlit, and it lets the filament carry the room.

Available sizes

All three hang on 100 cm (39.3″) of wire, shortened as you fit it, and weigh 1.8–2.3 kg (4–5.1 lb) by size. Mixing sizes over one run works well — keep to a single glass color across the group so it reads as one idea.

Good to know

The fixture is hardwired and not dimmable, so keep it on an ordinary switch rather than a dimmer, and there is no app or voice control to pair. IP20 carries no moisture protection, which makes it a dry-room fitting — bedroom, dining room, hallway, living room — but not a bathroom or a covered porch. Because each shade is blown and finished by hand, dimensions can run 1–3 cm (0.4–1.2″) either side of the figures above, and the glass tone varies very slightly from piece to piece.

Installation

Each pendant hangs on 100 cm (39.3″) of wire, shortened to the drop you want as you fit it — over a dining table the base of the shade usually sits 76–91 cm (30–36″) above the top, and in a hallway or beside a bed hang it clear of head height. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
