What to know before you order
The light is directional. The shell is opaque, so nearly everything the LED makes goes down through the ring — very good over a worktop, a table or a bedside book, and not the fixture to light a whole room from one point. Reckon on one pendant to every 5–10 m² (54–108 ft²) of floor, or run two or three in a line above an island. It is not dimmable and runs at full output on a plain on/off circuit. IP20 carries no moisture protection: dry indoor rooms only, not a bathroom and not a covered porch.
Colour temperature
The ring runs one warm white throughout: the tone that keeps a dining table, a bedside or a living room comfortable to sit under, rather than the crisp, cool light you would pick for a workshop or a desk.

Fitting it
The shade, flex and canopy arrive as one assembly, so the work is a single ceiling connection and setting the drop — over a table or an island the rim usually sits 75–90 cm (30–35″) above the surface. Fix the canopy to a joist or a rated ceiling box rather than to plasterboard alone. It runs on AC 110–240 V, which covers standard mains supply in most regions. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
