Dozens of alabaster plates, each left with its raw cut edge, are studded to a radial brass frame in three widening tiers — that is Gloire, 80 cm (31.5″) across and 50 cm (19.7″) tall on a short brass chain. Lit, the stone goes amber and translucent where it is thin and stays milky where it is thick, so the whole ring reads as texture rather than one flat glow. It carries an entryway or a dining table on presence alone, without the weight or the sparkle of crystal.

A note on the stone and the bulbs
Alabaster is quarried, not manufactured, so the pattern on your plates will differ from the ones photographed — the same warm tone, its own veining. Bulbs are not included: fit a standard E12 or E14 candelabra bulb in each lampholder, warm white for the truest read of the stone.
Installation
The chandelier is hardwired and hangs from a single ceiling point on its brass chain. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Will the alabaster match the photos exactly?
No two plates are identical. The stone is cut from natural alabaster, so your chandelier carries its own veining in the same warm tone shown.
How far does it hang below the ceiling?
The brass chain measures 12 cm (4.7″), and the fixture itself stands 50 cm (19.7″) tall.
Can I fit it in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20 for indoor use, with no protection against moisture, so keep it clear of steam and damp.
