An alabaster flush mount just 5 cm (2″) deep, so the whole fixture sits hard against the ceiling and clears a door swing. The LED is integrated — no bulb to buy — and the stone drum covers the mounting plate, so no canopy ring shows. Fits a low hallway, landing, entryway, bedroom, study or dining room.

What makes it work

  • Natural alabaster diffuser — pale and near-porcelain unlit, warming to honey with the veining risen once it is on; the whole underside lights, so no bulb is ever in view.
  • 5 cm (2″) deep — a true flush mount for a low hallway, a landing or a door swing, in ∅30, ∅40 or ∅50 cm (11.8, 15.7 or 19.7″) at ≈24, ≈36 or ≈48 W.
  • Brass or black — the only hardware on show is a small round cap at the centre of the underside, brushed brass or matte black against the white stone.

Light — chosen at order

The LED is integrated and the colour temperature is fixed by the variant you pick: no bulb to buy, and none to change. Choose the light you want to live with.

  • Warm Light: soft and settled, for a bedroom, hallway or landing.
  • Cool Light: crisp and bright, for a study or a working kitchen.
  • Triac Warm Dimming: drops in colour as well as brightness on a standard Triac wall dimmer — the one to pick if the fixture sits on a dimmer circuit.

Fitting it

It wires into a standard ceiling outlet: the mounting plate fixes to the box and the stone drum closes over it completely, which is why no canopy ring shows. Check the outlet sits central to the run of the ceiling before you start — the drum leaves no room to shuffle it afterwards — and allow the fixture's full diameter of clear ceiling. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Will it clear a low ceiling?
Yes. The whole fixture is 5 cm (2″) deep and sits hard against the plaster, so it stays well above head height in a hallway or under a low landing.

Can I dim it?
Choose the Triac Warm Dimming variant and it dims from a standard Triac wall dimmer, warming as it drops. The Warm Light and Cool Light versions run at a fixed output.

Which diameter suits my room?
∅30 cm (11.8″) for an entry, hallway or small bedroom; ∅40 cm (15.7″) for a standard bedroom or study; ∅50 cm (19.7″) over a dining table or in a living room.

Can it go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20 — indoor, dry locations only — so keep it out of a shower room and away from steam.
