Flat brass spokes radiate from a solid central hub, and at the end of each one a slim clear glass cylinder stands against an octagonal panel of natural alabaster — white, faintly grey-veined, with the occasional warm amber seam running through the stone. Every panel carries a small cast brass medallion in a raised cloud motif. Lit, the alabaster holds a soft glow behind each bulb while the glass keeps the source itself crisp; unlit, it reads as warm satin brass geometry over a table. The Meridian comes in three spans: six or eight lights on a single tier, or fifteen across two, from 60 to 90 cm (23.6 to 35.4″).
What makes it work
-
Natural alabaster panels — each octagonal slab is cut from real stone, so the veining behind your lights belongs to your fixture alone.
-
Solid brass throughout — hub, spokes, canopy, socket cups and the cast medallions, all in one warm satin tone.
-
Three spans, one shape — 60 cm (23.6″) on six lights, 75 cm (29.5″) on eight, 90 cm (35.4″) on fifteen across two tiers.
Sizing it to the room
Body height and chain are listed separately so you can work out the drop before you order. The six- and eight-light sizes stand 42 cm (16.5″) tall and hang from 30 cm (12″) of chain; the fifteen-light is 56 cm (22″) tall on the same chain. Over a dining table the base of a chandelier usually sits 76 to 91 cm (30 to 36″) above the tabletop, and a reliable rule for the span is half to two-thirds the width of the table — a 120 cm (47″) table takes the 60 cm (23.6″) six-light comfortably, while the 90 cm (35.4″) fifteen-light wants a long table, an entrance hall or a stairwell to sit in.
Bulbs and dimming
Every head takes a standard G9 bulb, sold separately, which leaves the colour temperature in your hands: around 2700K if you want the alabaster to read amber, nearer 3000K for a cleaner white. There is no driver or dimmer inside the fixture — it is a lamped fitting, so dimming comes down to the G9 bulbs you choose and the dimmer they are wired to.
Alabaster is a natural stone
The panels are cut from real alabaster, so colour, the density of the veining and those amber seams shift from piece to piece. Photographs show the character of the stone rather than the exact slab that reaches you — expect the same warm white, with a pattern of its own.
Installation
This is a hardwired ceiling fitting on a round brass canopy and chain, running at mains voltage with no transformer to site. Shorten the chain to set the drop, then wire the canopy to the ceiling point. A fixture of this span wants a joist or a rated ceiling brace behind the canopy rather than plasterboard on its own.

Frequently asked questions
Which size suits my dining table?
Take the span at half to two-thirds the width of the table. The 60 cm (23.6″) six-light suits most tables up to about 120 cm (47″), the 75 cm (29.5″) eight-light sits well over a longer one, and the 90 cm (35.4″) fifteen-light is built for a large table, an entrance hall or a stairwell.
Are bulbs included?
No. Each head takes a standard G9 bulb, so the colour temperature and the output are yours to choose.
Can I put it on a dimmer?
There is nothing inside the fixture to dim, so it rests on the G9 bulbs you fit: dimmable bulbs on a compatible dimmer will dim, non-dimmable ones will not.
Can it go in a bathroom or a covered porch?
No — it is rated IP20 for dry indoor rooms, so keep it clear of steam and damp.
