Milk Glass Pendant Light Over Kitchen Island, 1-Light, 23.1 cm

A milk glass pendant in four shade profiles on one fitting — three at ∅ 23.1 cm (9.1″), one compact ∅ 18 cm (7.1″). The opaque glass hides the bulb entirely, and the standard E26 socket takes any bulb sold locally. Set the drop on its adjustable cord over a kitchen island, dining table, stairwell or bedside.

What makes it work

• Opal glass, not clear — the shade is opaque milk glass, so the bulb never shows as a hot point and the light lands as an even wash. Unlit it reads bone-white; lit, amber-cream.
• Matte black hardware — cap, ceiling canopy and cord are all matte black, a graphic outline against a pale ceiling that hides dust far better than polished metal.
• Four profiles, one fitting — the shape changes; the glass and the hardware do not, so a row of mixed styles still reads as one set.
• Adjustable cord — you set the drop at installation, from bedside height to tight under a high ceiling.

Four shade shapes

You are choosing the profile, not the finish: every style carries the same opal glass, matte black cap and black cord. Styles A, B and D measure ∅ 23.1 cm (9.1″) across — about the width of a dinner plate. Style C is the compact ∅ 18 cm (7.1″), the easiest to group closely in a row. The forms run from a stepped, faceted cylinder through a wide schoolhouse dome to a tiered finial.

Before you order

No bulb is supplied: fit any standard E26 bulb in the warmth and wattage you prefer — LED, incandescent or fluorescent. The fixture is not dimmable, so wire it to a plain on-off switch rather than a dimmer circuit. IP20 carries no moisture protection, which makes it a dry indoor fitting — keep it out of bathrooms and covered porches. Assembly is required and the mounting hardware is included. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
