A single sphere of alabaster, 15 cm (5.9″) across, capped with a stone dome and hung from a slim brass stem on a black fabric cord. The whole fitting stands 20 cm (7.9″) tall, small enough to drop beside a bed or over the end of a console without crowding it. Unlit, the stone is a pale, chalky white against the brass; lit, it warms through and the veining shows. The light pools directly below rather than washing the walls, which is what makes this a bedside or reading fitting rather than a main ceiling light.

The pendant is hardwired to a ceiling point on a 150 cm (59″) cord rather than plugged into a wall socket, and its IP20 rating carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms. Alabaster is quarried rather than moulded: veining and translucency shift from piece to piece, and yours will not match the photographs exactly.
