A palm-size alabaster pendant, cut from stone rather than moulded, in three sizes from ∅12 to ∅16 cm (4.7 to 6.3″). It hangs from a 150 cm (59″) cord that shortens at the mount, so you set the drop height. Hang one over a bedside or stairwell, or three in a row above a kitchen island or dining table.

Choosing the bulb
The socket takes one mains-voltage G4 bi-pin, the AC 110 V type — not the 12 V low-voltage G4 that runs from a transformer. The two pins look identical and the bulbs are not interchangeable. Bulbs are supplied separately, so you choose the warmth and the output.

Installation
The cord drops from a matte black ceiling mount onto a standard ceiling point, so set the height before you make the connection. Over a worktop or an island, the base of a small pendant usually sits 75–90 cm (30–35″) above the surface. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
