Set into a slim brass or black metal body, the Olrinyra cylinder rests flush against the wall and lets a solid tube of alabaster carry the light instead of a bare bulb or a fabric shade. Warm light diffuses out through the stone's own veining, throwing a soft vertical glow rather than a hard beam, so it reads as much like a piece of sculpture as it does a working fixture. Choose the narrow profile for a tight hallway or the wider cylinder where you want the light to read with more presence.
