Frequently asked questions
Can I use a standard wall switch with the Petalo fan?
No. A standard switch isn't compatible with this fan's receiver. For wall-mounted control, the dedicated wireless wall switch is available separately. The handheld remote is included with every order.
How quiet does it run?
Very quiet. The pure-copper DC motor produces minimal mechanical noise — what you hear at speed is airflow, not the motor. DC motors are considerably quieter than standard AC motors at equivalent output.
Does it run in reverse?
Yes. The variable-frequency DC motor supports both forward and reverse rotation. In summer, use forward rotation to direct cool air down into the room; in winter, reverse it to push warm air that's collected near the ceiling back down.
What colour temperatures are available?
Three: Warm White (3000K), Neutral White (4000K) and Cool White (6000K). All three are switchable from the handheld remote.
Which body finishes can I choose?
Six: Wood Grain, Colourful, Black, Green, White and Grey. Every version ships with a white acrylic shade.
