Inspired by the traditional lanterns that light up homes along the shoreline, rural estates, and open terraces, this portable lamp in wood and glass is light enough to pick up and carry wherever you need it. Set it on a tabletop, a sideboard, or the floor. Choose an ash or walnut wood frame, each topped with a warm white glass shade.

Each piece of wood is unique

Both ash and walnut are natural woods. Grain pattern, color tone, and texture vary from one lamp to the next, so every piece is one of a kind. This natural variation is an inherent quality, not a defect.

Two wood finishes

  • Ash — lighter, cooler grain with a pale natural tone.
  • Walnut — darker, warmer grain with a rich brown tone.

Bulb and light source

Uses a standard E26 or E27 base. A warm Edison globe (2700–3000K) is strongly recommended; the vintage filament glows beautifully through the white glass shade and plays up the traditional lantern feel. Bulbs are not included.

Yes. The lantern is designed to be portable, so it sits happily on a tabletop, sideboard, or floor and can be picked up and carried to move warmth around the space.
