Alabaster is never the same twice. Each Quiver shade is cut from natural stone and turned to a slim cylinder, 7 cm (2.8″) across, so the fixture reads as a line of light rather than a mass. Unlit it is a pale, matte column carrying its own faint veining. Switched on, the light travels through the stone instead of out of a bare bulb, so the pattern lifts and the glow stays soft at eye level. A sculpted brass cap closes the top where the cord meets the ceiling. Take the 20 cm (7.9″) column for a bedside or a low run over a counter, the 28 cm (11″) for more presence over an island — both hang on 150 cm (59″) of cord, and both are slim enough to cluster in twos and threes without crowding.
What makes it work
-
Natural alabaster column — real stone, cut thin enough to pass light, so the veining only shows itself once the bulb is on.
-
7 cm (2.8″) across — narrow enough to hang two or three in a row over an island without the shades competing for room.
-
One standard E26/E27 socket — takes an ordinary screw-base bulb, so brightness and warmth stay your call.
Good to know
Natural stone is never uniform, so the pattern on your column will differ from the photographs — that is the material, not a fault. The bulb is not included: fit any E26 or E27 screw-base bulb in the wattage and warmth you prefer, and choose a dimmable one if you want it on a dimmer. The fitting is hardwired and rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions
Which bulb does it take?
One standard E26 or E27 screw-base bulb, sold separately, so you set the brightness and the warmth yourself. Fit a dimmable bulb and pair it with a compatible dimmer if you want it to dim.
How far does it hang down?
The cord measures 150 cm (59″) from the ceiling canopy on both sizes. Over an island, most people set the base of the shade 76 to 91 cm (30 to 36″) above the worktop.
Can I hang several together?
Yes. Each one is a single-head pendant on its own cord, so a cluster is simply two or three units side by side, and at 7 cm (2.8″) across they group without crowding each other.
Can it be fitted in a bathroom or anywhere damp?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.
