An arch-shaped aluminum pendant with an unmistakably Danish profile. The Semi Pendant is a real design icon — two quarter-circles joined back-to-back to form a distinctive arched shade in lacquered, spun aluminum. It first became a runaway success in the 1980s as the best-selling Danish design of its era, and that timeless form still casts a soft, diffused cone of light that's ideal over a dining table or kitchen work surface. Now available in seven colors.
Important — use a G45 globe bulb for the correct look (not any E26/E27). To get the iconic look you see in the product photos, with the light source neatly tucked inside the curve of the shade, you need a G45 globe-style bulb on an E26 or E27 screw base. The G45 is smaller in diameter and height than a standard bulb, so it stays hidden within the arch. Standard or high-wattage bulbs can protrude past the rim of the shade and change the intended look. On the ∅47cm (18.5") version, bulb wattage must not exceed 15W, as a higher-wattage G45 may be physically larger and extend beyond the rim.
