Some walls need rhythm, not another point of light. This sconce answers with a slim column of pale, upturned bowls. It turns a blank stretch of wall into a quiet focal point. You notice the shape before you notice the fitting.

Three bowls threaded on one slim rod

  • Air between the tiers — the bowls sit clear of one another, so the rod and the wall show through the gaps.
  • A small finial on top — a rounded knob caps the rod above the highest bowl.
  • Light that lifts — every bowl faces upward, so the glow climbs the wall above and slips out between the tiers.
  • A curve off a flat oval plate — the arm sweeps out and up from an oval backplate set flush to the wall.

Shallow bowls that turn half-translucent when lit

Each shade is a shallow bowl with a clean, even lip. Unlit, they read pale and softly mottled. Lit, they warm through and the mottling shows in the surface. The metalwork stays smooth and understated, so the three lit bowls carry the fixture.

Fit and placement

It works as a single accent beside a mantel, a doorway or a bed. Mirrored either side of artwork or a headboard, a pair frames the wall without crowding it. Leave clear wall above the fixture — that is where the wash lands.
