A square of light where you would normally get a circle. A single slab of natural alabaster sits in a slim black metal frame, held at two opposite corners by small brass saddles, and the whole fixture stands just 5.5 cm (2.2″) off the ceiling — close enough that it reads as part of the plaster rather than something bolted onto it. Lit, the stone turns the LED behind it into an even, low-glare wash with the veining showing through; unlit, it is a pale, quiet panel. Three squares, from 30 cm (11.8″) for a hallway up to 50 cm (19.7″) for a living room.

What makes it work

  • Natural alabaster diffuser — the stone spreads the LED across the whole face, so you get an even glow instead of a bright spot, with veining unique to your panel.
  • Only 5.5 cm (2.2″) deep — a true flush mount for rooms with low ceilings, where a pendant or a semi-flush would sit in your eyeline.
  • Integrated LED, 18 W to 48 W by size — the light source is built in, so there is no bulb to source now or replace later.

Choosing warm or cool

You pick the colour temperature when you order, and it stays fixed for the life of the fixture. Warm light is the softer, yellower option most people want in a bedroom, a hallway or a living room. Cool light is crisper and closer to daylight, which suits a kitchen, a study or a utility room. If the fixture is going in beside lights you already own, match what is there — mixed colour temperatures in one room are the thing people notice most.

Dimming

The standard build runs at full output and is not made for a wall dimmer switch. A dimmable version exists, so say the word before you order and we will set it up.

It fixes straight to a ceiling point and wires into the mains, with no drop to set. Will the alabaster look exactly like the photographs?
Close, but not identical. Alabaster is a natural stone, so the veining across your panel is its own — the same warm, even light, with a pattern no other fixture has.

Can it go in a bathroom?
