Opal globes ride a slim vertical rod — one high near the mount, the rest clustered at the foot, drawing a line of light up the wall. The LED is built in, so there's no bulb to buy or replace. Four heights, 103 to 185 cm (40.6–72.8″), for a headboard, a hallway, a stairwell or a reading chair.

What makes it work

  • Built-in LED, warm or natural — the light source is integrated and included. Warm light runs soft and yellow-toned for bedrooms and living rooms; natural light is cleaner and closer to daylight beside a mirror or a reading chair.
  • Four heights, one wall footprint — 3, 4, 5 or 6 globes on the same slim rod, from 103 cm (40.6″) to 185 cm (72.8″), so it grows up the wall without growing wider.
  • Globes in glass or plastic, metal in three finishes — ∅ 12 cm (4.7″) opal globes, glass or plastic, on brass, black or nickel metalwork.

Good to know

The sconce is not dimmable. You choose warm light or natural light when you order and it runs at that output. It is rated IP20 — a dry indoor rating with no moisture protection — so keep it to bedrooms, living rooms, hallways and stairwells rather than a bathroom. It hardwires to a standard wall switch, which is not supplied, and sits flat against the wall with no visible cord. Some assembly is needed before mounting. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic household wiring — it's a straightforward job.
