Two alabaster globes ride a single curved arm — one set high, one low — off a small round wall plate, so one fixture lights at two heights instead of one. Unlit, the globes read as creamy off-white stone, each veined a little differently; switched on, they turn amber from the inside and the grain shows through the glow. The whole sconce stands 45 cm (17.7″) tall and 30 cm (11.8″) wide, with a 12 cm (4.7″) globe at each end — compact enough to clear a bedside table, substantial enough to carry a hallway on its own.

This is a hardwired fitting: it connects to a wall junction box rather than a plug, and it runs off your existing wall switch. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wall wiring — it's a straightforward job. It carries an IP20 rating, which is dry-room protection only, so keep it out of bathrooms and away from steam. And because alabaster is a natural material, the tone and veining of your globes will differ from the photographs.
