One alabaster blade runs through an aged brass collar and lights from both ends — a wash up the wall, a pool below. The bulb sits behind stone, so the room gets glow rather than glare. At 50 cm (19.7″) tall with only 10 cm (3.9″) of projection, it suits a hallway, a stairwell, a bedside or a vanity mirror.

Alabaster is quarried stone: the veining on your sconce will be close to the photographs but never a copy of them. One of the styled shots shows a matched pair flanking a mirror — the listing is for a single sconce, so order two if you want that look.
Installation
This is a hardwired fitting: the round backplate covers a junction box and secures the collar on three threaded studs, with no cord, plug or inline switch anywhere on it. Beside a mirror, sconces usually sit 152–168 cm (60–66″) above the floor; beside a bed, around 152 cm (60″) or just clear of the headboard. Allow 10 cm (3.9″) of projection from the finished wall face. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wall wiring — it's a straightforward job.
