A wood-and-brass chandelier hung with blown-glass persimmon shades, staggered at two heights so the cluster has depth. Every head takes a standard E26/E27 screw bulb, and the braided cord sets your hanging height at the canopy. Choose three heads at ∅60 cm (23.6″) or five at ∅70 cm (27.6″) over a dining table, kitchen island, entryway or stairwell.
What makes it work
-
Open-disc glass shades — a squat, wide-shouldered persimmon profile with a flat open disc underneath, so the light drops straight onto the table rather than out into your eyes.
-
Wood and brushed brass — brass rods run straight through a turned wood cylinder into brass cone fitters, with a round brass canopy at the ceiling to match.
-
Drop set at the canopy — two knurled screws grip the braided fabric cord, so you fix the hanging height as you fit it and it stays there.
Before you order
Bulbs are sold separately — one standard E26 or E27 screw bulb per head. A warm-white LED keeps the beige glass reading as cream rather than lemon, and a clear filament lamp looks well through the glass if you like to see the source. Dimming depends entirely on what you fit: dimmable bulbs on a compatible dimmer will move the level, ordinary bulbs will not. The fixture is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection, so it belongs in a living room, a bedroom or over a dining table rather than a bathroom or a covered porch.

Heights exclude the drop cord. Both head counts are made in beige and in white: unlit, the beige glass reads a warm butter cream and the white a cool opal; lit, both settle into the same soft amber. The glass is thick enough to take the hard edge off a filament.

Installation
- It wires straight into a ceiling point; set the cord length at the canopy before the glass goes on.
- Over a dining table the base of a chandelier usually sits 75–90 cm (29.5–35.4″) above the tabletop.
- A plasterboard ceiling wants a joist or a rated brace behind the canopy rather than the board alone.
- Wire and hang the body first, then seat each glass shade on its brass fitter, handling it by the rim.
- Indoor, dry rooms only (IP20) — keep it clear of steam.
Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
Frequently asked questions
Are bulbs included?
No, they are sold separately. Each head takes a standard E26 or E27 screw bulb, so you choose the colour and the brightness.
Can I change how low it hangs?
Yes. The braided cord is held by two knurled screws inside the brass canopy, so you set the drop while you fit it.
Is it dimmable?
Through the bulbs. Fit dimmable E26/E27 lamps on a compatible dimmer and the level will move; standard bulbs run at full output.
Can it go in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no moisture protection, so it is for indoor, dry rooms.
