Ten-Shade Ring Chandelier for Dining Table, Alabaster, G9, 101.5 cm

Ten conical shades, each one cut from natural alabaster, sit around a single ring of gold-finished steel 101.5 cm (40″) across, set alternately high and low so the rim reads as a slow wave rather than a flat circle. Stone this thin turns a bulb into a glow — the light arrives warm and grainy, with the veining legible inside it. The fixture stands 63.5 cm (25″) tall and hangs on a 50 cm (19.7″) rod beneath a round ceiling canopy: a span for a long dining table, a double-height entry or an open stairwell.

What makes it work

• Ten natural alabaster shades — real stone diffuses the light instead of glaring, and no two shades carry the same veining.
• Gold-finished steel ring — one continuous 101.5 cm (40″) rim carries every head, braced to the central rod by three angled stays.
• Ten G9 sockets — compact, widely stocked bulbs, so you set the warmth and the brightness of the whole ring yourself (bulbs sold separately).

Alabaster is one of a kind

Each shade is cut from natural stone, so the tone and the veining in the photographs are a guide rather than a match. Expect the same warm light with a pattern that belongs to your fixture alone.

Give it room

This is a wide fixture. The ring alone covers 101.5 cm (40″), so measure the span of the table or the hall it will hang over before ordering, and check what sits beneath it.

Installation

It is hardwired and hangs on a 50 cm (19.7″) rod from a round ceiling canopy, so the fixing point needs to carry a ten-head fixture — a joist or a rated ceiling brace rather than plasterboard alone. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Are bulbs included?
No. The ring takes ten G9 bulbs, sold separately, so you choose the warmth and the brightness.

How far does it hang below the ceiling?
The rod measures 50 cm (19.7″) beneath the canopy. A different rod length can be arranged on request.

Can it go in a bathroom or outdoors?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no protection against moisture, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms.
