Dome Travertine Wall Light for Bedside, Gold Plate, 15 cm

Some lights ask to be noticed. This one asks the wall to glow instead. A single dome of natural travertine stands just off the plaster, the colour of stone left out in the sun. Behind it, soft light spills out in a quiet halo — no bulb in sight, just glow.

A travertine dome that glows at its edge

• A dome, not a sphere — side-on it reads as a rounded pebble rather than a full ball.
• A halo, not a beam — light rings the stone rather than shining outward, washing the wall behind it.
• A gold-finish disc behind the stone — the dome sits proud of it, and the light escapes through the gap between the two.

Travertine with its pits left open

Travertine is a natural stone, so the pitting and tonal variation you see are part of the material, not a flaw. The surface stays matte and open-pored, catching the light differently at every angle. It sits in a warm, sandy colour that shifts between daylight and its own glow at night.

Fit and placement

This one wires directly into the wall rather than plugging in, so a qualified electrician should handle the first fit. Settle the position before the cable is run, and check the diameter in the specifications against the wall you have in mind.

Frequently asked questions

Is it suitable for a bathroom?
No. Keep it clear of showers, baths and anywhere else that carries steam or spray.

Does it need a plain wall?
A flat, plain surface suits it best — that is what every room shot in the gallery uses.

Can I hang two together?
Yes. The gallery shows a level pair above a sofa and a staggered pair climbing a staircase wall.
