Evoque Antique Gold Leaf Wall Sconce, Solid Brass Body, Hardwired

Mounted flush to the wall, the Evoque sconce feels closer to a small piece of brass sculpture than an ordinary light fixture. Its slim 20″ (50.8 cm) frame carries a warm antique gold leaf finish beneath a soft fabric shade, so a single bulb spreads into a gentle, even wash instead of a hard beam. At only 5.8″ (14.7 cm) wide, it hugs the wall without ever reading as an afterthought — just as comfortable flanking a headboard as it is framing a hallway mirror or lighting a quiet reading corner.

Details that matter

• Solid brass frame — a substantial, cool-to-the-touch body that resists warping and discoloration the way lighter-weight metals often can't, so it only looks better with age.
• Fabric shade for softer light — spreads the single bulb into an even glow rather than a glare, so a room reads as gently lit rather than spotlighted.
• Four finish options — Antique Gold Leaf, White, Polished Nickel, or Brass, so you can match it to the metals you already have in the room.

Installation and dimming

This fixture is hardwired, so have an electrician make the connection, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring — either way, it's a straightforward job. It's also compatible with a standard dimmer switch (not included) if you'd like to bring the glow up or down.

Frequently asked questions

Is it safe to install in a bathroom?
Yes — it carries a damp rating, so it works well in bathrooms and covered outdoor areas, just keep it out of direct rain exposure.

Is a dimmer switch included?
No, but it's fully compatible with one if your circuit already has it — and it runs perfectly well on a standard switch if not.

Which bulb fits this fixture?
An E14-base bulb rated up to 15W incandescent, or its LED equivalent for lower running costs and a longer lifespan.
