Slim Linear LED Pendant for Kitchen Island, Alabaster, 100 or 120 cm

A single bar of alabaster, 100 or 120 cm (39.4 or 47.2″) long, hung level on two fine cables from a slim black ceiling box that houses the driver, with brass droppers where the cables meet the stone. Unlit, it reads as a pale, chalk-white block with its own grey veining running end to end; lit, the whole length lifts into one warm, even band — the LED sits inside the bar, so you see glowing stone rather than a lamp. It is made to hang low over a surface: 100 cm (39.4″) sits comfortably over a four-seat table, 120 cm (47.2″) over a six-seat table or a standard kitchen island.

What makes it work

• Integrated LED, about 34 W — sealed inside the bar, so there is no bulb to source, fit or replace over its life.
• Natural alabaster bar — quarried stone, so the veining belongs to your piece alone, and it diffuses the LED into an even wash instead of a bright line.
• Warm or cool light, chosen at order — you set the temperature of the fixture before it ships rather than living with whatever it arrived with.

What to know before you order

The LED runs at a fixed output. It is not dimmable, so wire it to an ordinary switched circuit rather than to a wall dimmer. Warm or cool is a one-time choice made when you order: warm sits with wood, brass and evening dining, cool reads crisper over a working island, and the fixture keeps whichever you pick. The cables arrive at 150 cm (59″) and are shortened at the ceiling box to set your final height. Its IP20 rating carries no moisture protection at all, so keep it to dry indoor rooms. And because alabaster is quarried rather than moulded, the veining and translucency shift from bar to bar — yours will not match the photographs exactly.

Frequently asked questions

Which length should I choose?
Pick the bar a little shorter than the surface it hangs over: 100 cm (39.4″) suits a four-seat table, 120 cm (47.2″) a six-seat table or a standard kitchen island.

Can it be dimmed?
No. The LED is integrated and runs at a fixed output, so it belongs on an ordinary switched circuit rather than a wall dimmer.

Warm or cool light — how do I decide?
Warm suits wood, brass and evening dining; cool is crisper over a working kitchen island. You choose at order and the fixture keeps that setting.

Can it hang in a bathroom?
No. IP20 carries no moisture protection, so it belongs in dry indoor rooms.
