Glass Globe Wall Sconce for Hallway, Looped Cord, Black or Bronze

A single glass globe sits in a metal ring on a horizontal arm, with a slim cable looping beneath it. A warm white LED bulb is included, so there is no bulb to buy. It wires straight into the mains — black or bronze, for a hallway, a living room, or a pair either side of a mirror.

What makes it work

• LED bulb included — the warm white LED comes with the sconce, so nothing has to be sourced before it goes on the wall.
• Looped cable detail — a slim cable drops from the arm and curves back up to the stem, the line that separates this piece from a plain globe on a bracket.
• Glass globe diffusion — the globe spreads light in every direction, so the wall reads as an even glow rather than a beam pointed down.
• Two finishes — matte black with brass pivot and stem details, or brushed bronze throughout with a black fabric cable.

What to know before you order

The light is warm white at one fixed brightness: it runs from an ordinary on/off switch and will not dim or answer a smart-home controller. The backplate is a compact oval, so if your wall box is wide, have a larger cover plate ready and the sconce will still finish flush against the wall.

Installation

The sconce mounts on its oval backplate over your wall outlet box. Beside a mirror, sconces usually sit around 165 cm (65″) from the floor, roughly at eye level. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wall wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Is a bulb included?
Yes — a warm white LED bulb comes with it, so the sconce is ready to wire in and there is nothing else to buy.

Can I dim it or run it from a smart switch?
No to both. It runs at one fixed brightness from an ordinary on/off switch.

What separates the black from the bronze?
Only the metal. Black is a matte black plate, ring and arm with brass pivot and stem details; bronze is brushed bronze-brass throughout with a black fabric cable. Both carry the same glass globe and the same warm white LED.

Where does it work best?
Living and dining rooms of 10–15 m² (108–161 sq ft) are the sweet spot, and because the light is ambient rather than task, it also earns a place in a hallway or beside a mirror.
