Metal Wall Sconce, Perching Bird Sculpture Design, E14 Fitting

A single bird settles onto the wall in cast metal here, its wingtips and feather lines worked into real relief rather than pressed into a flat outline. Warm light spills from beneath its body instead of beaming straight out, so at just under 40 cm (16″) tall the whole piece reads first as a small sculpture and second as a light source — the kind of detail that rewards a second look up close.

Features

• Bird shaped in real relief — wings and feathers are cast into the metal itself, giving it genuine sculptural depth rather than a cut-out silhouette.
• A glow, not a beam — light spills gently out from under the bird, so it works as soft mood lighting as much as a functional light source.
• Doubles as wall art — it earns its place in a bedroom, living room, or study as a decorative piece first, a lamp second.

Good to know before you order

This fixture is hardwired and takes a standard E14 bulb, sold separately so you can choose your own brightness and colour tone. Have an electrician fit it, or install it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Does the bulb come included?
No — it takes a standard E14 bulb, sold separately, so you can choose the brightness and colour temperature you prefer.

Can it be dimmed?
Not with a standard switch. Pair it with a compatible dimmer and a dimmable E14 bulb if you'd like that control.

Which rooms does it suit best?
Bedrooms, living rooms, and studies — anywhere you'd like a characterful accent rather than a room's main light source.
