Soloon Solar LED Outdoor Wall Sconce, Die-Cast Aluminum Body

Some outdoor walls have power run to them; others don't — the Soloon sconce works either way. A die-cast aluminum body throws off heat fast to keep its LED cool and consistent, while a smoke-gray polycarbonate shade closes the whole assembly against rain, dust, and grit, so the exact same fixture reads at home on a wired entryway or way out along a fence line with no cable in sight.

Why it works

• Die-cast aluminum body — a fast heat-dissipation design keeps the LED running cool and stable over long stretches of use.
• Dual power source — wire it in for a steady 12W hardwired glow, or run it fully off-grid on the built-in 5W solar panel.
• Rechargeable 7.4V battery — a 2,600mAh cell stores solar energy through the day so the light keeps glowing well after dark.
• IP65 sealing — the body and shade are sealed against rain, dust, and humidity for reliable performance across every season.

Choosing hardwired or solar

Both versions share the same body and shade — the difference is entirely in how they're powered. Go hardwired and you'll want an electrician for the initial wiring, or do it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wiring, since it's a straightforward job; go solar and there's no wiring at all, just a spot with direct daylight for the panel to charge the battery.

Frequently asked questions

How long does the solar version stay lit after dark?
The 2,600mAh battery is sized to carry a full night's use once it's charged through the day, so long as the panel gets reasonable direct daylight.

Can I switch a hardwired unit to solar later?
Order whichever power source fits your wall now — the two are sold as separate versions of the fixture rather than a single unit you can convert on site.

Is the aluminum body going to corrode outdoors?
No — die-cast aluminum with an IP65-rated seal is built specifically to stand up to rain, humidity, and daily outdoor exposure.
