A dome of natural alabaster on a brushed brass canopy, held tight against the plaster. At 15 cm (5.9″) deep it takes almost nothing out of the room — small enough for a hallway with a low ceiling, a stair landing, or the wall-side of a bed where a pendant would be in the way. Unlit the stone is a pale, quiet disc. Lit, it warms to amber-white and the veining runs right through the shade, throwing a soft wash across the ceiling rather than a hard pool underneath.
What makes it work
Globe or cylinder
Both profiles are offered in the same two shade diameters, ∅12 cm (4.7″) and ∅15 cm (5.9″), and both stand 15 cm (5.9″) deep, so the choice is purely about line. The globe reads softer and rounder against a flat ceiling; the cylinder is straighter and more architectural, and the domed base spreads a little more light downward. In the size list the globe is Model A and the cylinder is Model B.
Bulb, dimming and wiring
The fitting takes a G9 bulb, which you supply, so the colour temperature and the brightness are your call. Nothing is dimmed at the fixture itself — the level follows the bulb, so fit a dimmable G9 and a compatible dimmer switch if you want to be able to lower it. It wires straight into a ceiling point, with no plug and no transformer to house. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

How far does it drop from the ceiling?
It doesn't drop. It mounts flush and stands 15 cm (5.9″) deep — the same on both shade profiles and both diameters.
What is the difference between Model A and Model B?
The shade profile only. Model A is a rounded globe, Model B a straight-sided cylinder with a domed base. Both come in the same two diameters and the same height.
Can I fit it in a bathroom?
No. It is rated IP20, which carries no protection against moisture, so keep it to dry indoor rooms.
