A note on the glass

Glass is an inherently fragile material. When the holes are cut, the edges can show slight, uncontrollable micro-cracks. These edge variations are a natural characteristic of glass craftsmanship and do not compromise the quality or structural integrity of the piece.

Inner shade finish

The inner lampshade finish varies by color: the black inner shade has a matte surface, while the gold inner shade has a glossy finish. Both are visible when the light is off and shape the reflective character of the pendant when it is lit.

Frequently asked questions

Are edge cracks around the glass holes a defect?
No — slight edge irregularities at the cut holes are inherent to glass craftsmanship, not a quality defect. Glass is fragile and can respond unpredictably during cutting. These variations do not affect quality or structural integrity.

What is the difference between the matte and glossy inner shade?
The inner shade finish depends on the color: black inner = matte, gold inner = glossy. Both affect the warmth and character of the light reflected inside the pendant.
