A note on the glass
The glass shade needs holes cut for the fitting. Glass is inherently brittle and sensitive to stress, so slight edge irregularities — including fine cracks at the cut edges — are a normal, uncontrollable characteristic of the glass-cutting process. This does not affect structural integrity or the look of the fixture once installed.
