A fluted white glass sconce on a brushed brass swan-neck arm — thick glass that turns a bare bulb into an even, creamy glow. It takes any standard E26/E27 bulb and reaches just 12 cm (4.7″) off the wall, so it never crowds a corridor. Made for hallways, bedside walls, vanity mirrors, stairwells and dining rooms.

What makes it work

  • Thick fluted white glass — eight shallow flutes on a rounded-square lantern shade, scalloped at the shoulder and heavy enough to hold a bare bulb back to an even glow.
  • Open at the foot — a defined pool of light drops down the wall while the shade itself glows for ambient fill.
  • 12 cm (4.7″) projection — clears a shoulder in a hallway and fits beside a door frame, a mirror or a narrow console.
  • Brushed satin brass throughout — round backplate, swan-neck arm and stepped socket collar in one finish.

Bulb, wiring and fit

The bulb is separate: one standard E26 or E27, LED, incandescent or fluorescent, so brightness and colour temperature are yours to pick. It is hardwired on AC 110–240 V with no cord, plug or switch on the fitting — it switches at the wall, and it is not dimmable. Rated IP20, it belongs in dry indoor rooms rather than a bathroom or a covered porch. It mounts on a round backplate over the wall outlet box; beside a bed, a sconce this size usually sits 150–160 cm (59–63″) off the floor. Glass shades vary a little from piece to piece, so allow 1–2 cm (0.4–0.8″) either way. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic wall wiring — it's a straightforward job.
