Twelve or sixteen opal glass globes tip the arms of this sputnik chandelier, in polished chrome or warm gold. Two sizes — ∅ 90 cm (35.4″) with 12 lights, ∅ 115 cm (45.3″) with 16 — so the span fits your room before you order. Hang it over a dining table, a seating group or a bedroom.
What makes it work
Bulbs and dimming
The chandelier takes G9 bulbs — 12 on the smaller size, 16 on the larger — and none come in the box, so have a full set ready before you install it. It isn't designed for dimmer control; plan on full output.
Mounting
It hangs from a rigid downrod rather than a chain, so it sits level and stays put. Two rod sections come in the box — 20 cm (7.9″) and 30 cm (11.8″) — to set the drop, and the round canopy, ∅ 12 cm (4.7″), mounts flush to the ceiling. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.
