Amber Glass Flush Mount Ceiling Light, Sunburst LED, 19.8–37.8 cm

An amber glass flush mount with a radial sunburst pressed into the glass itself, not printed on it. The integrated LED is already fitted — no bulb to buy — and a short chrome canopy sits tight to the ceiling with no rod, chain or drop. Made for hallways, landings, bedrooms, kitchens and low-ceiling living rooms, in three diameters.

What makes it work

• Sunburst pressed into the glass — the radial ribbing and the ripple band around the drum catch daylight when the fixture is off; lit, the shade warms from rust-amber to honey and lays a soft amber ring across the ceiling.
• Sits tight to the ceiling — a short chrome canopy and no drop at all, so it clears low ceilings, landings and hallways where a pendant would be in the way.
• Integrated LED, 10 W maximum — the light source is built into the fixture, so there is nothing to buy before you switch it on.

The light it gives

Fixed warm white — the settled, low-glare tone that suits a hallway you pass through and a bedroom you wind down in, and the one that flatters amber glass. There is no dimming and no colour-temperature switching, so plan it as a steady source rather than one you tune through the evening. Rooms of roughly 5–10 m² are where it does its best work, and at IP20 it carries no moisture protection — dry rooms only, kitchens away from steam.

Fitting it

The canopy screws to a standard ceiling point and wires into the mains at AC 110–240 V, so it suits either supply standard. Fix into a joist or a rated ceiling anchor rather than plasterboard alone, and fit the shade after the wiring is made. Have an electrician make the connection if you'd rather not touch the wiring, or fit it yourself if you're comfortable with basic ceiling wiring — it's a straightforward job.

Frequently asked questions

Is it dimmable?
No. It runs at one fixed warm-white output, and because the LED is integrated there is no bulb to swap for a dimmable one.

Do I need to buy a bulb?
No. The LED module is built in and draws 10 W at most, so it lights as soon as it is wired in.

Which diameter should I choose?
19.8 cm (7.8″) suits a hallway or a landing, 27.9 cm (11″) a bedroom or a kitchen, and 37.8 cm (14.9″) a living or dining room where the fixture should carry the ceiling on its own.

Can it go in a bathroom?
No. IP20 carries no moisture protection, so keep it to dry rooms, away from a shower or a bath.
