Descripción

Una lámpara de techo con cuentas de cristal transparente dispuestas en capas superpuestas sobre una estructura metálica dorada. Admite bombillas E14, LED o Edison: seis en el tamaño más pequeño y doce en el más grande. Puedes elegir el color de la luz.

Hay cuatro tamaños, de 40 cm (15.7″) a 80 cm (31.5″) de diámetro. Una varilla ajustable permite regular la altura de suspensión, y la lámpara se conecta directamente al cableado del techo. Es ideal para comedores, recibidores, dormitorios y cocinas.

Guía de instalación

Esta luminaria cuelga de una caja de conexiones en el techo y se conecta a la red eléctrica. Decide la altura antes de conectar nada: es mucho más fácil ajustar la caída mientras los cables siguen sueltos que tener que volver a hacerlo después.

Antes de empezar

  • Montaje: la luminaria se fija a una caja de conexiones estándar en el techo. El soporte y los elementos de fijación están incluidos.
  • Peso: comprueba que la caja de conexiones y el techo puedan soportar la luminaria. Los pesos aparecen en las Especificaciones del producto, más arriba. Es posible que una lámpara de araña pesada requiera un refuerzo entre las vigas.
  • Altura de suspensión: el cable, la cadena o la varilla incluidos se pueden acortar. Sobre una mesa de comedor, en la mayoría de las habitaciones queda bien una caída que deje unos 75 a 90 cm entre la superficie de la mesa y la parte inferior de la pantalla.
  • Tipo de techo: todos los modelos son aptos para techos planos. La compatibilidad con techos inclinados se indica para cada producto en las Especificaciones del producto, más arriba.
  • Alimentación: estas luminarias se conectan directamente a la red eléctrica. No se enchufan a una toma de corriente.
  • Regulación de intensidad: los modelos con una bombilla reemplazable suelen ser compatibles con un regulador de intensidad adecuado. Por lo general, los modelos con LED integrado no lo son.

Herramientas que podrías necesitar

  • Capuchones de empalme o conectores de terminal (incluidos)
  • Escalera de mano y una segunda persona para cualquier luminaria pesada o ancha
  • Taladro, si vas a instalar una caja de conexiones nueva o a reforzar el techo

Instalación

1. Corta la corriente

Desconecta el circuito de iluminación en el cuadro eléctrico; el interruptor de pared no es suficiente. Comprueba la tensión en la caja de conexiones del techo con un comprobador y confirma que los cables no tengan corriente.

2. Instala el soporte de montaje

Atornilla el soporte incluido a la caja de conexiones del techo con los tornillos suministrados. Apriétalos de manera uniforme y comprueba que quede plano y nivelado; si el soporte no está nivelado, se notará al colgar la luminaria.

3. Ajusta la altura de suspensión

Ajuste el cable, la cadena o la varilla a la caída deseada antes de realizar cualquier conexión eléctrica. Fije la longitud con el ajustador de la base o la pieza de sujeción dentro de esta. Si acorta un cable, enrolle el sobrante ordenadamente dentro de la base en lugar de cortarlo; así podrá ajustar la altura más adelante.

4. Conecte los cables

  • Fase con fase: negro, marrón o el terminal marcado con L
  • Neutro con neutro: blanco, azul o el terminal marcado con N
  • Tierra con tierra: verde, verde y amarillo o sin aislamiento, al terminal o tornillo de tierra

Fije cada conexión con un conector y empuje suavemente los cables hacia el interior de la caja. Al cerrar la base, no debe quedar nada atrapado entre esta y el techo.

5. Fije la luminaria al soporte

Levante la base o la placa posterior hasta el soporte y fíjela con los tornillos o las tapas decorativas suministrados. Apriete hasta que quede bien sujeta, sin forzarla; las tapas decorativas y las roscas chapadas se dañan fácilmente.

6. Coloque las bombillas

Coloque el tipo de bombilla y la potencia indicados en las especificaciones del producto anteriores. Si varias roscas comparten una pantalla, use bombillas idénticas para que el color y el brillo sean uniformes en toda la luminaria.

7. Restablezca la corriente y pruebe la luminaria

Vuelva a encender el circuito y pruebe la luz, incluido el regulador, si ha instalado uno. Vuelva a cortar la corriente antes de abrir cualquier pieza.

Consejos importantes

  • Siga las normas de cableado vigentes en su zona y recurra a un electricista cualificado si hay techos altos, soportes inclinados o cualquier aspecto que le genere dudas.
  • Pida a alguien que sostenga una luminaria ancha o pesada mientras conecta los cables. No permita que cuelgue de los cables en ningún momento.
  • Limpie el vidrio y el cristal con un paño suave y seco. No pulverice limpiador sobre una luminaria conectada a la corriente.
  • No apriete demasiado las piezas decorativas: son acabados, no elementos estructurales.
