Great lamp. Extremely light. Very nicely made. The black arm is made of metal and powder coated black nicely. The little knob on top of the dome is made of wood and is finished nicely. The burnt orange / amber dome is made of acrylic and so is the internal white dome. Don’t let the fact that it is not glass discourage you though, it is very similar to vintage style lights made the exact same way. I am very, very happy with this purchase. Very mid century/ post modern. Also, it is the exact same light selling between c$700 -c$1000 on lighting websites. I’m pretty sure they just buy it from here and add a large price tag.
